Observe how figural representation has changed throughout history with attention paid to the Byzantine, Renaissance, Fauvist, Post-impressionist, Expressionist, Surrealist, and Neoclassicist movements. Review the use of iconography, distortion, abstraction, classical depictions, and identity through the figure in the arts, Use these ideas to facilitate rendering the figure differently. Learn fundamentals of figure depiction while discovering ways to deconstruct the form. Model fee included.
